[001] Reconnaissance

Setting: Witchlight Forest, near Grey Manor
Content: Worksafe
Summary: Levi's out shopping. On the list: An alternative fuel source for the ODMs, and an internal map of the area.
Status: In Progress.
Lurid, dank liquid dribbled onto the moss, painting it a loud mix of sage and scarlet. Levi radiated silence but for the scrubbing sound his elbow grease made as it smeared the blood off of his twin blades. A heaving, bulbous mass lay drawn and quartered on its side a few meters to his east, leaving Levi just out of range of the organ-laced tendrils it had sprouted upon its demise. Disgusting, but at least it had had the decency to explode like a pus-ridden pimple AFTER he had established a safe distance. His uniform remained blessedly untarnished.
Small miracles were he could find them, Levi supposed.
